Freshly established in early 2016 by the collaboration of few old experienced horses in the field and some enthusiastic entrepreneurs,with positive nod and support from The Ministry of Commerce for Business of International and domestic air and sea freight forwarding, FRETE is engaged in business of goods and technology , import and export, international shipping , non-vessel shipping , general cargo transport etc.with agent offices in India ,China,Japan, Usa ,Europe & Middle East Countries.

A formal tariff was a published list of charges applicable to the types of cargo normally carried on the route concerned. The charges may be based either on the weight carried, for heavy (dense) cargo, or on the vorume taken up, for right cargo, although the ratio between weight and measurement will varyby mode.

In man time transport the cubic meter is now the standard unit (except in some USA trades where 4o cubic feet is still used)- lf the cargo occupies less fl-ran 1 cubic meter (cbm or m3) per tonne weight, the charge will be based on Weight (W), or 'deadweight'. lf more than 1 cu. M. then the charge is based on volume used, Measurement (M). A freight rate based" on this formula is called a Weight Measurement rate (W/M) and the unit is a 'freight tonne'. This is still the usual basis of charging for LCL and break bulk cargo. Similar WM rules apply to road transport except that the ratio used in more commonly 2.25cbmt1tonne or 100 cubic feet / 1 tonne. 'This allow for the fact that weight is more likely to be restricting factor than measurement or road vehicles. On aircraft weight is the all important factor so that cubic is only taken into account in the most extreme circumstances. Air tariff are based on a kilo basis, ln sea and road transport the Operator will therefore try to 'mix -and - match' the cargo carried on W or M rates to maximize earnings.
